An upscale Chicago unit called for nothing less than perfection. The cabinetry had already set a strong contemporary foundation, but the counters needed to be the icing on the cake—elevating the space without stealing the show. The island, serving as the centerpiece in a vast open layout, demanded flawless execution. Every detail mattered: from achieving a flawless fit against the walls to engineering seam placement that worked in tandem with the building’s not-so-generous elevator size. Adding to the refined contemporary look was the master bath shower. Its floating seat and shelf, paired with the uninterrupted flow of solid surface material, made the shower appear as though it had been poured into place.
